jeep tops - highly competitive keyword but we are seeing great results!
jeep soft tops - summers coming new Jeep soft Tops will be needed
jeep doors - #1 on MSN right now!
jeep windows - In the top 20 on all 3 search engines!
jeep seats - Coming on strong, we were in a big hole when we started on this one!
jeep seat cover - Lot's of jeeps must have torn seats this is a widely searched phrase.
jeep hardtop - gotta dominate this one if jeepsandstuff.com is going to be successful.
jeep hard top - we have discovered that this keyword is searched alot as one word and also as two words so we are optimizing different pages for each!
Warn - msn.com, we are getting close!
Tire Covers - huge keyword that is getting out of our little jeeps only niche so it will be a challenge but we will prevail!!

Jeep Seats

Jeep Seats is another keyword that is really getting my competitive juices flowing. jeepsandstuff.com sells Bestop Trailmax Jeep Seats and that is the page we are optimizing. We do really well in the search engines already for specific terms to those seats but the owners of jeepsandstuff.com want LogicMaze to help them capture the market on all Jeep fanatics who are searching for Jeep seats. So we shall!!!

Jeep Doors

Here is a frustrating situation you come across sometimes in the quest for search engine rankings: You have a site that has thousands of pages, you pick certain keywords you want to dominate and begin optimizing, but in your initial research of your rankings you find that one certain keyword when searched brings up a different page than you want it to, our think it should. We have 2 instances of that with jeepsandstuff.com Jeep Doors and Jeep Wrangler Doors on all 3 major search engines brings up the home page of jeepsandstuff.com. Why doesn't it bring up the jeep doors page of jeepsandstuff.com? (located here) Because that page was very poorly optimized when this site was created and the optimization we have done on the home page of jeepsandstuff.com has made it rank very well in the engines for a lot of jeep related search phrases. Don't cry, we will fix it and bring the doors page around. It does put us at a serious disadvantage when we start though because one of the pages we are fighting for position is one of our own pages. Why does LogicMaze want the jeep doors page to be the specific page people land on when the search for jeep doors, because it gets them that much closer to the order page and get jeepsandstuff.com that much closer to a sale!

Jeep soft tops

We have been telling you for quite a while about all the work we have been doing for www.jeepsandstuff.com and we have 20 keywords right now that we are really cranking on. Well we still are working on all those keywords but we are getting close to dominating jeep soft tops and I thought I would share some info about it with you. Ok let's back up, why is LogicMaze a good choice for your search engine optimization firm? Easy, we are fanatically competitive. LUNATICS! We must win! Now, do we have all of our clients at number one on every search engine? No, not all of our clients have the budget to get to number 1 in their industry for the big keywords. But, we do make massive improvements for all of our clients when we take them on as SEO clients. I am getting sidetracked, jeep soft tops is driving our competitive nature. When we started with jeepsandstuff.com they were not in the top 1,000 on Yahoo Google or MSN for jeep soft tops. As of right now (the time will be posted in at the bottom of this entry) jeepsandstuff.com is #7 on MSN out of 405,293 results. They are #36 on Yahoo out of 597,000 results and they are #50 on Google out of 592,000. Not too bad, all three search engines are sending traffic to the site for this keyword. Not good enough though! I am going for top 5 placement on all 3 engines in one month. By Feb 20th jeepsandstuff.com will be in the top 5 on the 3 major search engines for "jeep soft tops".

Whitewater Rafting

Don't miss this if you care at all about SEO. "Whitewater rafting" is a huge term in the world of search engine optimization. We are going to take www.idafloat.com to the top for Whitewater rafting. Estimated time to target 3 months. And when we make it I will post an exact percentage of increase in visitors that their site experiences. Gonna be a wild ride. Outdoor Adventures

LogicMaze has taken on the task of re-optimizing www.idafloat.com . We decide to get very aggressive and go after some big time keywords. For instance we are going to optimize one of their sub-pages for the phrase "outdoor adventures" this is a huge keyword and top 20 placement will do amazing things for the number of visitors they will receive. Again please be advised: This is monster of a keyword, not only will we have to beat all the other rafting companies in the world, we will have to tackle everyone who offers any type of outdoor adventure at all. Idaho Whitewater River Rafting

Ok, you might consider this a blatant plug for one of LogicMaze's clients, but it's not. Last summer we went rafting in Idaho with Idaho Afloat What a blast! I have never had so much fun. The scenery was tremendous and the whole experience couldn't have been better. No way you could go wrong in planning a trip with them.

Jeep Bumpers - we have worked on this some before, we decided it was time to goto the next level with it.
Tire Covers - This is a very broad keyword we have stepped out of the strictly Jeep world and decided to go after bigger fish. We will succeed!!!!
Jeep Mirror Page - This is one we haven't optimized for before so results could be a little slower but it will happen.

Search engine optimization

OK here we go,
jeepsandstuff.com has been a faithful marketing customer of ours for several months. As I said in my last post the next phase of their internet marketing has begun. We worked today on the next set of keywords, here they are:
1. jeep tops
2 jeep soft tops
3. jeep hardtop
4. jeep hard top
5, jeep bikini top

Some had decent rankings from the work we did for jeepsandstuff.com the last time around, some are great proof that you can never stop doing your search engine optimization. Once you get to the top and start seeing increased sales it is easy to slack off and sit back. Any good business owner knows slacking off just leads to falling back in the pack. Jeepsandstuff.com didn't slack off we just started paying attention to more and different keywords and some of the ones from the first go around started to slip. Anyhow we have narrowed it down to 20 main keywords that jeepsandstuff.com wants to dominate on the 3 major search engines, and we will dominate.
Check back it's gonna be a wild ride.

Kansas City Menus Making Progress!

On December 19th I announced that optimization had been completed for KansasCityMenus.com. I'm very happy to report that the optimization has pushed the site up in the search engine rankings and increased traffic to the site! Following the links in a previous post on the subject shows that KansasCityMenus.com is moving up, but let me give you some more numbers from the past 2 1/2 weeks.

First of all, you must understand that once a site has been optimized, it takes time for the entire method to update. Each Search engine has it's own way and time frame for indexing a site and calculating site rank for search terms. SO, the only thing you can do is wait and keep track, which is what LogicMaze has done. Now trust me, these are not the final numbers. There are still a few restaurant pages that have yet to be indexed, and those mixed with the growing popularity of the site will continue to raise the numbers.

I will stop rambling and get to the point with some specifics.

GOOGLE:
So we all know google is the most comprehensive search engine, and one ingredient to your results with google is time. That's something that I can't program in, so we just have to be patient and we will get there. But the numbers are good! Time will give us higher rankings.

• Keyword seeing the largest jump: Kansas City Dining raising 11 spots from #17 to #6
• Main Keyword Kansas City Restaurant moved 3 spots from #7 to #4
• Main Keyword Kansas City Restaurants moved 1 spot from #9 to #8

MSN:
Google is good, but MSN has come out of nowhere as a powerful search engine with excellent results. Very quick to update and index sites. Really good numbers coming in already!

• Keyword seeing the largest jump: Kansas City Restaurants raising 83 spots from #84 to #1
• Main Keyword Kansas City Restaurant was actually already listed at #1 two days after my optimization, and has continued to hold that spot!
• Another Keyword seeing a large jump was: Restaurants In Kansas City raising 66 spots from #69 to #3

WEBCRAWLER:
I personally like webcrawler, mainly because it has been around since the early days of the web. Interesting to know, though, is that it is actually not a stand alone search engine anymore. It simply queries Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, LookSmart, and About; then it returns the most popular sites combined from all those search engines. Very interesting and pleasing results.

• Keyword seeing the largest jump: Kansas City Restaurant guide raising 103 spots from #107 to #4
• Main Keyword Kansas City Restaurant moved 3 spots from #7 to #4
• Main Keyword Kansas City Restaurants moved 35 spots from #49 to #14
• Keywords containing KC return well on webcrawler. I'm seeing Keyword KC Dining Guide ranked #1

Also interesting to note:

Did you know you can search for sites that link to another site? Just put "link:www.kansascitymenus.com" or any web address into a search engine. Try MSN for Kansas City Menus. You will find many interesting sites including the Wikipedia encyclopedia entry for Kansas City. You can see at the bottom of the page that Kansas City Menus is the destination of the KC Restaurants & Dining link.

One other tidbit before I log off- as a bonus that I didn't even expect Kansas City Menus ranks high for people looking for restaurants not just in Kansas city, but in all of Kansas. Search for Kansas Restaurant Guide in either MSN or Google and you will have Kansas City Menus as the #2 return. Both Kansas Restaurant & Kansas Restaurants return as #6 on MSN. Excellent!
